Propaganda Studio is proud to present our work on HSBC's latest lifestyle advertising campaign, shot entirely on location across Hong Kong.
The campaign — conceived for international airport placement — required a broad range of lifestyle scenarios communicating HSBC's core brand values: multigenerational family moments, multicultural business relationships, urban lifestyle and the energy of Hong Kong as one of Asia's most dynamic international cities. The result is a visually rich campaign that captures authentic human stories against some of Hong Kong's most distinctive locations — from traditional dim sum restaurants and street-level urban environments to contemporary interiors and the city's iconic skyline.
Shooting a campaign of this scale for international airport placement demands a specific production approach — large format compositions that read clearly at billboard scale, diverse casting that reflects both local Hong Kong culture and HSBC's global audience, and a cinematic approach to lighting and colour that translates across multiple formats and environments. Every frame was designed to communicate warmth, aspiration and cultural authenticity simultaneously.
Hong Kong remains one of Asia's most compelling locations for international advertising campaigns — combining world-class production infrastructure with a visual landscape that is instantly recognisable to a global audience. Propaganda Studio works with photographers and production teams across Hong Kong, connecting international brands with the local expertise and creative talent the city offers.
